Calling All Aspiring Drone Captains! Are you passionate about technology and lifesaving?

We are evaluating the level of interest in sourcing a patrol drone for our beach and we are looking for dedicated SoSLSC members who are interested in becoming a Drone Captain!

Pre-requisites:

– Be a financial SoSLSC member

– Be 16 years or older- Hold any patrolling award (Radio Operator, BM, SRC)

In this role, you will:- Maintain the Drone: Ensure our drone is in top condition and ready for action.

– Coordinate Training: Organise and lead training courses to get other members up to speed on drone operations.

– Guide Patrol Flights: Provide expert advice and support for effective and safe patrol flights.
