This course gives you the WA Training Officers Award.

It is a generic trainers course covering teaching theory, lesson structure, communication skills, skill development and documentation.

Once you have this award, complete a logbook for the course you are interested in teaching, e.g. Bronze Medallion, IRB and be signed off by a club mentor.

This course is delivered over You will need to attend both sessions on – Wednesday 21st August 2024 from 6.30 to 9.30pm and Saturday 24th August 2024 from 9 am to 12 noon.

Prerequisites:

• SLS – Child Safe Awareness (takes about 20mins)
• SLS – Surf Risk Rating (takes about 20mins)
• Minimum age is 16
