Spinal Management
Price Free
The Spinal Management Certificate addresses the need to identify and manage victims with suspected spinal cord injuries in the aquatic environment.
In this course you will learn the causes of spinal injuries, the signs and symptoms of spinal injuries, and how to manage a patient with a suspected spinal injury.
Qualifications & Prerequisites
There are no specific qualifications or prerequisites.
Other Requirements
You must be proficient in one of the following SLSA awards to commence training:
- Bronze Medallion or;
- First Aid
You must also hold one of the following units of competency to commence training:
- HLTFA211A or HLTAID002
- Provide basic emergency life support or;
- HLTAID003 Provide first aid
