How to Join/Renew

Important Information for Nipper Enrolments

If your child is participating in the Woodside Nippers program (Under 6 to Under 13), it is a requirement that at least one parent or guardian is also registered as a Volunteer Nipper Parent. If you have more than one child to register, or would like to register both parents, a Family or Small Family Membership will be better value.

The status of our Nipper age groups is below (if at capacity please email admin@sorrentoslsc.org.au to join waitlist):

– U8s (for children born between 1st October 2017 – 30 September 2018) – now at capacity, with a waiting list in place

Step 1. Create Surf Life Saving Hub Account

Visit: https://hub.sls.com.au/sign-upto create your SLS Hub Account

Enter a username (your email address can be used) and click Next.

Step 2: Creating your account

Your account has been created. Click on “I am a brand-new member joining a club or organisation for the first time.

Step 3: Select a club

Click the drop-down arrow and choose Sorrento from the list.

Step 4: Joining Form

Select the Scenario that applies to you.

Step 5: Member details

Complete all your personal details and click Next.

Step 6: Member details

Enter your address and emergency contact information.

Step 7: Agree to the Declaration

This will take you to the declaration section—please tick the box to confirm you have understood, acknowledged, and agreed to the declaration.

Step 8: Select Your Membership Category

This will take you to the page where you can choose your membership type from the drop-down box.

Step 9: Proceed to Payment

Once your membership category has been approved, you can complete the renewal by entering your payment details and clicking pay.

Renewing Your Membership

To renew your membership, please log in to the SLSA Member Hub and follow the instructions provided below.

Step 1: Sign in to SLS Hub

Navigate to the SLS Hub Sign In page.

Sign in using your existing Members Area credentials.

If prompted, you will need to change your password.

Forgotten your password? Click “Forgot Username or Password” and follow the prompts.

Step 2: Access Your Membership

Once logged in, you’ll be taken to the Dashboard. From there, click “View More” under Membership.

Step 3: Begin the Renewal

Under Organisations, find Sorrento (WA).

Click the “Renew” button next to your membership.

Step 4: Agree to the declaration

This will take you to the declaration section—please tick the box to confirm you have understood, acknowledged, and agreed to the declaration.

Step 5: Select Your Membership Category

This will take you to the page where you can choose your membership type from the drop-down box.

If you are unsure of membership category view our member categories.

PLEASE NOTE: If your membership type isn’t showing, return to Step 3 and update your sub-membership category. Refer to Step 6 below for guidance.

If your membership category appears, proceed to Step 7.

Step 6: Update Sub-Membership Category

Return to Step 3, click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to your membership, and select “Change Sub-Membership Category.”

Choose the correct category and submit it for approval.

This change must be approved by the club before you can proceed with payment. You will be notified once approval has been given.

Step 7: Proceed to Payment

Once your membership category has been approved, you can complete the renewal by entering your payment details and clicking “Next.”

Renewing Your Membership

To renew your membership, please log in to the SLSA Member Hub and follow the instructions provided below.

Step 1: Sign in to SLS Hub

*Visit: https://members.sls.com.au

*Sign in using your existing Members Area credentials.

*If prompted, you will need to change your password.

*Forgotten your password? Click “Forgot Username or Password” and follow the prompts.

Step 2: Create New Family Group

*Click the “Create New Family Group” button. (Note: This button won’t appear if you have a pending New Family Group request or are under 18.)

Step 3: Add existing members or create new ones

*Make your selection and select Next.

Step 4: New Family Group Details

*Enter the relevant details and select Next.

Step 5: Adding existing members to a family group

*Search for your family members and select “Add” to add them to your family group.

*When you are done adding family members, select Submit.

Step 6: Adding new members to a family group

*Enter the details for at least one new member (you can add more than one)

*Once you are done adding members, select Submit.

Step 7: Submit Request

*View a confirmation pop-up and select Submit Request.

Your request is now successfully submitted.

Once your club reviews and approves this request, your new Family Group’s status of “Pending” will disappear.

If you added new members to your family group, the “Pending Approval” indicator will be removed as well.
