Expressions of interest are now open for the winter Silver Medallion IRB Driver TRAINERS course.

Enrolments close Friday 14th July 2023

Pre requisites:

-Be a paid up member of Sorrento surf Lifesaving club.

-Hold current BNZ and IRB crew certificate.

-Attain or hold RST before the IRB driver assessment.

-Be 17 years of age on or prior to assessment date. Approximately late September.

-Candidates must also be available to attend all sessions.

Candidates need to talk to the me if there are any problems or queries with the above.

Dates and times of the course to follow.

There will be one dry session on Wednesday 19th July 6pm – 7.30pm.

We will run through some theory and discuss which day suits for training and RST.

Training will be at Sorrento or Hillarys beach.. With a possibility of heading to Trigg.

Training will start on either Saturday 22nd or Sunday 23rd July.

Duration will be for approximately 8-10 weeks.
